Liverpool See Keito Nakamura Offer Rebuffed
What Did Liverpool Offer for Nakamura’s Signing?
The Reds have signed multiple midfielders in the summer window so far, although Dominik Szoboszlai can also operate as a wide player if needed. They are yet to sign a natural forward this summer and that’s why they might be pushing for the Japanese star.

Aouna claims that they recently made a bid of £5.9 million along with the option to loan him back to the Austrian club for the upcoming season. However, it’s added that it was swiftly turned down because LASK want at least £9.4 million for the sale of Nakamura, which would then result in a club-record sale for the club.

It’s also reported that Lille are currently leading the race to sign him, despite the interest from Liverpool as well as Eintracht Frankfurt. Aouna states that the 22-year-old was initially reluctant to move to France, but is now open to the prospect of moving to the Ligue 1 club in the summer. This means that Jurgen Klopp’s side will need to raise their offer if they aim to sign him and beat the other interested parties to the chase
Other Liverpool Moves
Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia over a potential summer move. They are reported to have had a £40 million offer for him rejected, but continue to push forward to sign him as part of their midfield revolution.

Fabinho is also on his way out with a move to Saudi Arabia on the horizon, while Jordan Henderson just completed his own move to the country. Amid all this, it appears that the Premier League heavyweights have kept their interest to sign Nakamura alive.
The 22-year-old winger, who has been described as ‘amazing’ for his exciting style, scored 17 goals and provided eight assists for LASK last season. He has been attracting interest from multiple clubs thanks to his heroics in the previous campaign.
