Which Clubs Are Interested in Fred?
The Brazilian international had a solid first season under Erik ten Hag, scoring six goals and providing six assists across 56 appearances last season. However, he lost his spot as the regular starter and is likely to move further down the pecking order after Mount’s arrival.

Romano claims that Fred will leave Old Trafford this summer and that Turkish side Galatasaray have already approached United over a move. It’s added that they have submitted an opening offer for the 30-year-old but saw it immediately rejected because the Manchester side valued the offer as too low.
It is also added that the Brazilian is also attracting interest from Saudi Arabia clubs too. Romano claims that a number of Premier League clubs are working on the prospect of signing him. This includes Fulham – who are reported to be really interested in signing him after the midfielder was seen chatting with manager Marco Silva after the Red Devils’ win over the Cottagers towards the end of the Premier League last season.
What Has Fred Achieved at Old Trafford?
Ever since arriving at Old Trafford in 2018 from Shakhtar Donetsk, Fred has been a controversial figure at the club and often irked fans who criticise his error-prone nature. He has, although, played under every manager to have worked at the club since his arrival and has seemingly been a useful player for every one of them too.

Ralf Rangnick even called the Brazilian an ‘extremely valuable’ player of the squad during his short spell as interim manager last year. Fred has made 213 appearances for the Manchester Reds in his career, scoring 14 goals and providing 19 assists. He’s slotted in as a centre-midfielder and defensive midfielder, putting in energetic performances all through the years. It’s the 30-year-old’s hard-working nature and energetic style that has caught him so much interest, and it remains to be seen where he plays at the start of the upcoming season.
