Two Sides Pursuing of James Maddison
Newly appointed Spurs manager, Ange Postecoglou, has made it clear that he wants to bolster his squad with the addition of James Maddison. Moreover, Postecoglou sees the Englishman as a player who can bring creativity and goalscoring prowess to the Lilywhites’ midfield. The Australian manager has specifically requested the signing of the playmaker, highlighting his importance to the team’s rebuild and ambition to compete at the highest level.
Newcastle United, on the other hand, have been monitoring the former Norwich City star’s situation for quite some time, having pursued the midfielder since last summer. Additionally, the club’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League next season provides them with a slight advantage in the negotiations. The allure of European football and the financial resources available to Newcastle could be persuasive factors for Maddison as he considers his next move.

Leicester City’s Summer Rebuild
The Foxes are about to embark on a new journey as they return to the second division of English football after nine years. As per Romano, the rebuild under manager Dean Smith has already begun, with a group of players including Belgian international Youri Tielemans set to leave the club on free transfers.
Maddison, who according to former Manchester City assistant coach Juanma Lillo is ‘100 times more intelligent than any coach’, will be a player to watch in the coming weeks.
