Randal Kolo Muani, the Eintracht Frankfurt forward, has caught the attention of several clubs with his impressive performances. Manchester United are one of those clubs, but they would have to spend big in order to get the deal over the line.
Manchester United Require a ‘Crazy’ Bid to Sign Randal Kolo Muani
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Stance
The German club signed Kolo Muani on a five-year contract after agreeing on a pre-contract deal with Nantes in 2022. They are not looking to sell the player anytime soon and would only consider a “crazy” bid, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano.
Kolo Muani’s Performances and Style of Play
The Frenchman has been in excellent form this season, scoring 11 goals and providing ten assists in 23 Bundesliga appearances. He has also been a key player for the Hessen club in the UEFA Champions League, scoring crucial goals to help his side secure qualification to the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time in their history.
The forward also featured for the French national team in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. He scored his first goal for France, in the semi-final match against Morocco, slotting in a deflected shot from Kylian Mbappe.
In addition to his talent, his play style has been likened to that of Arsenal hero, Thierry Henry. Much like Kolo Muani, legendary France striker Henry started his career by impressing with his pace and trickery out wide before being repurposed as a centre-forward. The 24-year-old also has a languid dribbling style and immense turn of speed that were hallmarks of Henry’s game.
Manchester United’s Interest
Manchester United are said to be looking for a new forward to bolster their attack. Kolo Muani’s pace and power to play across the front line make him an attractive prospect for Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils are reportedly planning to submit a £107 million bid for the Frenchman.
While Eintracht Frankfurt are not looking to sell the player anytime soon, a big-money offer could tempt the German club to part ways with their star forward.
