Manchester United Agree Marcel Sabitzer Loan Deal With Bayern Munich
The Manchester side were convinced that the Austrian midfielder can be an ideal fit for him and he agreed to join them on deadline day after founding a liking for Erik ten Hag’s project at the club. Romano has given the ‘here we go’ for the deal, confirming that the deal will be signed with Bayern Munich in the final hours of the January transfer window.

Sabitzer had to be quick to finalise his move to Old Trafford on Tuesday. He opted against training with Bayern Munich and instead flew to Manchester to undergo his medicals and sign a short-term contract with the club. The loan deal does not have an option to buy, meaning that he will only be a United player until the end of the season.
Romano has also reported that both clubs are now exchanging contracts for the deal to be finalised, with an official announcement expected soon.
Manchester United Make Another Loan Signing in January
The Red Devils have been smart with their signings in January after realizing that they don’t have too much money to spend on transfers. They decided to replace the departed Cristiano Ronaldo with a short-term option in Wout Weghorst, who has joined the club on loan from Burnley for the rest of the season.
They also roped in Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan to replace Martin Dubravka, who saw his loan deal terminated and returned to Newcastle United in January. Sabitzer is set to be their third loan signing of the winter, with Ten Hag’s side being smart with their acquisitions of players on loan to help strengthen their squad.

Sabitzer, who was dubbed as a “leader” by former United manager Ralf Rangnick in the past, has voiced his admiration for the Red Devils and even stated how he always wanted to play at Old Trafford during RB Leipzig’s trip to the stadium in a Champions League group game in 2020. The Austrian midfielder made 54 appearances for Bayern, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
