Isco Set for German Transfer
Union Berlin look set to complete the sensational signing of Spanish midfielder Isco. The former Real Madrid midfielder, who turned out over 350 times for Los Blancos, is a free agent after leaving Sevilla in December.
During his time in the Spanish capital, the former Valencia player picked up 19 trophies, including three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and five Champions Leagues. He has also been capped 38 times by Spain.
According to Plettenberg, the 30-year-old will complete a medical on Tuesday ahead of a deadline-day move to the Bundesliga, with Union currently sitting second in the table, just one point behind leaders Bayern Munich.
It will be a remarkable addition for Die Eisernen, who continue to exceed expectations both on and off the pitch.
