The stars seem to be aligning for Erik ten Hag and Manchester United. Despite the recent loss at the hands of Aston Villa during their last English Premier League outing, United look to be slowly reverting to their former selves.
Ten Hag and his men will look to cap off their last game ahead of the FIFA World Cup with a win against Fulham on November 13.
The Red Devils will also look to remain on the heels of their top four rivals, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, as they aim to close the gap on those above them.

How Manchester United Have Lined-up Recently
The Old Trafford outfit has seen a few changes over the past matches as Ten Hag looks to find his best starting eleven. However, injuries and a succession of games have forced the Dutchman to make reasonable changes to the squad.
United’s last two matches were both against Aston Villa in the Premier League and Carabao Cup, respectively. Both games saw a flurry of changes, with many regular first-team players missing out on the game on Thursday.

The likes of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, David De Gea, and Luke Shaw, among others, were either relegated to the bench or did not make the squad at all. Meanwhile, Harry Maguire finally started a game after a while, along with the midfield duo of Fred and Scott McTominay – who are commonly known by supporters as McFred.
Manchester United Recent Form and Tactics
The Red Devils have only lost one game in the last five league matches. They will look to immediately bounce back to winning form as they take on Fulham. Ten Hag will fancy his chances at Craven Cottage after his side blew away Villa in the Carabao Cup.
He will look to revert to his preferred 4-1-4-1 formation and employ the services of Anthony Martial to lead the attack. Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho will likely accompany the Frenchman in the front three.

Casemiro could also make his return to the starting eleven and will likely be playing alongside Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes in midfield. The Butcher Martinez could also return in defence. However, Maguire will most likely lose his spot. McFred are also seemingly destined to lose their places from the Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa.
Cristiano Ronaldo is also likely to start from the bench following Martial’s return from injury.
Manchester United Injuries to Consider
Jadon Sancho would have loved to brush off his disappointment of not getting selected in the England squad for the World Cup by starting for United, but that seems unlikely. The former Borussia Dortmund star is still out with an illness and will, in all probability, not make it to the bench.
Antony, selected for Brazil’s World Cup squad, could make it back in time to take his place in the match-day squad.
