Arsenal’s Current Run of Form
The Gunners have won three out of their last five matches in all competitions and the North London club are currently sat top of both the Premier League and their Europa League group.
However, Arsenal did suffer defeat at the hands of PSV Eindhoven in their most recent Europa League fixture, and the changes that Mikel Arteta made left them looking incredibly vulnerable at the back in that game. Despite that, the Gunners were able to respond with a 5-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League just three days later.
FC Zurich Current Run of Form
The Swiss outfit have won just two of their last five fixtures and are currently bottom of the Swiss Super League.
However, both of those victories have come in their last two games. The first was an impressive win against Sion, who are second in the division, while the second, a victory over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, gives them a chance of securing a third-placed finish in the group.

Recent Head-to-Head
These two sides do not play each other all that often, with their clash in the Europa League earlier this season being the only time they have faced up against each other in a competitive match.
That game ended in a 2-1 victory for the Gunners, but the away side will take confidence from the fact that they were able to cause Arsenal serious issues in that match. In typical fashion, Mikel Arteta’s side controlled possession, but FC Zurich were able to register ten shots in total, with four of them being on target.
Ultimately though, goals from summer signing Marquinhos and Eddie Nketiah, who also conceded a penalty in that game, were enough to seal the win for the Premier League side.

Despite Arsenal having to play Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend, Mikel Arteta is expected to name a fairly strong starting lineup in this game as winning their Europa League group will mean that the Gunners avoid an extra round of knockout games later in the season. This should allow the side to maintain the momentum gained from their 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest, and given the far superior quality that Arsenal have in their ranks, a home win looks to be a very safe prediction in this game.
