No Offer For Robin Gosens
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan had proposed a loan with an option to buy to VfB Stuttgart for Borna Sosa. With the deal for the Croatian looking unlikely, the club has called off Gosens’ dream return to Germany.
The two teams were close to an agreement on Wednesday night but the complications in finding a replacement has led to a dead end.

The former Atalanta wingback has only been at the Nerazzurri since January and has yet to really make his mark on the team, and a departure in the last hours of the transfer window would come as a major surprise.
Bayer Leverkusen director Simon Rolfes now claims the Bundesliga side were not interested in signing Robin Gosens from Inter although the player’s agent had kept the door open for his client’s move to Germany.
“There is no offer from Bayer and we don’t want to sign him”: he told Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, as quoted by FCInternews.
Homecoming to Germany
Gosens was the unlikely hero for the German national team as they pulled off a scintillating comeback against Portugal at Euro 2020.
The player has become a cult hero in Germany. A move to the BayArena would have been a perfect homecoming for the galloping wingback.
The move to Germany is now off the cards unless something drastic happens in the last hours of the window.
