The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga is continuing as the Frenchman has reached an agreement with both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. Speaking to Kora Plus, Mbappe’s mother said: “We have an agreement with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Kylian will now decide.” She also stated the two offers were almost identical.
A PSG stay is becoming increasing likely after new talks with the club, says Gianluca Di Marzio. The Frenchman had reportedly already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid first but is now more likely to stay in Paris after reaching an agreement with the French champions to renew his contract.
Fabrizio Romano reported: “Real Madrid hoped to get the green light from Kylian Mbappé as early as last Tuesday… but he asked for ‘bit more time to reflect’”. The final decision is up to Mbappe himself.

PSG Doing Everything to Keep Mbappe
Football’s hottest property, with a market value of £144 million, was expected to join Real Madrid this summer and after agreeing personal terms it seemed the saga was over. However, PSG have exhausted every avenue to try and retain their poster boy. The French champions reportedly offered Mbappe £4 million a month, along with a signing on figure of £100 million to tempt him into staying. Mbappe has racked up 36 goals and 26 assists in 45 games this season for the French giants.
There were even reports that PSG would offer the striker the chance to be the owner of their sporting project. With this, he would be able to sack coaches and decide on transfers. Something seems to have worked on PSG’s side, as the Frenchman is now looking more likely than before to stay. Mbappe’s camp will be having more internal talks today to decide on the star man’s future.
Paris or Madrid for Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe’s future should hopefully be decided within the next week. Real Madrid expected to hear on Tuesday that Mbappe was accepting their offer, but the Frenchman needed more time. PSG took that time to offer their player the world.
Current PSG manager, Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he does not know Mbappe’s decision yet. The Argentine has said: “I may have inklings – but it’s up to Kylian and the club to communicate on it,” when asked about his star player.
The World Cup winner wants, and has the ability to, become one of football’s greats. He joined PSG in 2017 with a view to winning the Champions League with PSG and the Ballon d’Or. His time in France has not been successful in the European competition, reaching one final. Where better to go to win the Champions League than to 13-time winners and this year’s finalists, Real Madrid? The Champions League is just part of their DNA. He will be trying to follow in the footsteps of his footballing idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
