According to reports from The Athletic‘s David Ornstein, one of the biggest transfer sagas of 2022 is close to coming to an end. Ornstein is reporting that Kylian Mbappe has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid with the player expected to sign with the club soon.

It wasn’t too long ago that Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly hopeful of extending Mbappe’s stay at the club following talks with his mother. At the time, all signs pointed to the French striker being happy to extend his stay in Ligue 1.
However, as time went on the reports started to swing in the favour of Real Madrid who over time have become increasingly confident in landing the signature of the star striker. With these latest reports it would appear that Kylian Mbappe will be kitted out in the iconic white of Real Madrid next season

In Mbappe, Real Madrid could have their cornerstone striker for the next decade to come, if not longer given how well players are treating their bodies nowadays. As of this writing, Kylian Mbappe’s goalscoring record with Paris Saint-Germain is a whopping 168 goals in 216 across all competitions, with 116 of those goals coming in 141 Ligue 1 games. If the French striker can bring that consistency to Real Madrid then there may be no stopping them.
