Jens Stryger Larsen has snubbed his proposed move to Galatasaray, according to Lyall Thomas. The news comes just days after reports had suggested that the 30-year-old had been close to securing a move to the Turkish giants.

Talks between Jens Stryger Larsen and Galatasaray have reportedly broken down. The Turkish giants had been close to signing a deal with Udinese for the 30-year-old right back, but the move has now failed to materialize.
Larsen had been keen to play in the Champions League. It was one of the reasons that the Dane had been close to signing for the Turkish against. But, Galatasaray suffered a huge 5-1 loss against PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of the second round Champions League qualifiers to put the Turkish side’s future in the competition in serious doubt.
The right-back’s impressive performances in the Euro’s have attracted attention from several clubs. The failure of the move will now have reportedly alerted several Premier League and Serie A clubs. The 30-year-old had been a target for West Ham and Watford prior to the Galatasaray snubbing. The news will likely see both Premier League sides revive their interest in the 30-year-old.
Larsen Close to Ending a Four Year Stay at Udinese
The right-back arrived in Italy in 2017 after securing a move from the Austrian side Austria Wien. Larsen quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and was one of the first names on the teamsheet. During the four seasons, the right-back made 140 appearances and scored five goals for Le Zebrette.
But, his future at the club was in doubt. The Dane had entered into the final year of his contract and did not have any intentions to sign a new one at the Stadio Friuli.
