Manchester United Agree ‘Deal in Principle’ for Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho

In a deal worth €90 million plus add-ons, Jadon Sancho has set to complete his move to Manchester United. The club have confirmed that they have agreed a deal in principle for the winger. The saga stretched on from last summer into this and is finally completed, much to the relief of United fans. It also marks a new chapter in Sancho’s career and one that will likely take him to a new level. The pressure is, that’s for sure, but expect a diamond to be formed out of that pressure.

In the past, big money signings have crumbled under the pressure at Old Trafford. Whether it be Angel Di Maria or Romelu Lukaku, big money deals have rarely paid off for United. Sancho is different, however. After failing at Manchester City’s academy before thriving at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho is back in Manchester to prove the Citizens wrong. And what better way to prove them wrong than by joining and potentially thriving at their arch rivals?

Jadon Sancho Completes United Move

Final Piece to the Puzzle

Nobody could quite believe it when Manchester United lost the Europa League final to Villarreal last season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked destined to pick up his first trophy in the Old Trafford dugout, but low and behold, silverware proved a step too far once again. Signing Sancho should see an end to their trophy hunt.

The winger is one of the best around and, at 21, he’s got years to further improve alongside the likes of Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford. The fact is, when looking at Manchester United’s squad, that fear factor is almost there again. They’ve got players for both the present and future all over the pitch. Now, even their bench is looking more and more stacked.

It is a mark of potential champions to have the ambition to complete such a big deal and increase squad depth. And United will be desperate to reach the summit of the Premier League once more.
