According to Mike McGrath of the Telegraph, West Ham United are the favourites to secure Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard on loan with the midfielder falling out of favour at Old Trafford.
The Englishman, who was once set for stardom in Manchester, could now have the opportunity to rediscover his best form.
With the Euros approaching, Lingard will be desperate to get back on track with West Ham the reported place to do exactly that under David Moyes.
The Englishman will be desperate to realise his once-great potential rather than become a failed academy graduate.

With summer signing Donny van de Beek struggling to break into the side, Jesse Lingard never stood a chance- hence the move away. The 28-year-old desperately needed a move and looks likely to get it in the form of West Ham.
At West Ham, Lingard would have the opportunity to help the club reach new heights. As it stands, the Hammers sit seventh, two points away from the top four.
Perhaps by adding the top-level experience of Lingard, West Ham will pull off the shock of the season. They have certainly shown signs of qualifying for Europe, with the Europa League more likely than the Champions League, and needed that extra quality; something Lingard can provide.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be keeping a watchful eye on the loanee who’ll be keen to find his form and regain his place back at Old Trafford.
For now, however, should the move happen, Lingard’s focus will need to be on West Ham and fulfilling their goals as well as his own. He’ll receive the game time he needs, that’s for sure; it’s just about taking advantage of it.
Should he find his best form in London, West Ham will have themselves a player who fits the bill for European qualification this season if they manage to complete a deal.
