Nottingham Forest duo Nicholas Ioannou and Miguel Guerrero are subject to transfer interest from Greek side Aris Thessanoliki, according to reports.

Nottingham Forest Duo Come Under Transfer Interest

Limited Opportunities Since Arriving on Trentside

Neither have managed to establish themselves as regular starters since arriving at the City Ground.

The duo joined Forest along with many others in a busy summer transfer window under ex-boss Sabri Lamouchi.

But playing opportunities have proved to be limited after the Frenchman was sacked and replaced by Chris Hughton.

It means the duo could look for more minutes elsewhere, with Goal and Alpha Free Press respectively linking them with a transfer to Greece.

The 25-year-old joined Forest midway through September but has made only a handful of appearances for the Reds.

Ioannou started in the 1-0 defeat to Bristol City – Lamouchi’s final game in charge – and the next four matches under the newly-appointed Chris Hughton.

The left-back has made just three appearances since a red card against Luton Town; he has not been included in any of Forest’s squads for the last four matches.

It means the Nottingham Forest defender may look for a transfer move away in order to restore his playing opportunities, with second-placed Greek top-flight side Thessanoliki reportedly interested.

Possible Move for Guerrero

Spanish forward Guerrero intends to terminate his Forest contract in order to force a move away, according to reports.

The Alpha Free Press claim that Aris Thessanoliki wants to dress Miguel Angel Guerrero in “yellow”.

Guerrero has made nine appearances for Forest since arriving in September, but playing time has been limited.

He was given only 17 minutes to impress in a cameo debut appearance against Cardiff City midway through September.

Only four of his nine appearances have been from the start of matches.
