Nottingham Forest fans have voiced their displeasure following a 1-0 home defeat to Swansea City, their third Championship defeat on the bounce.
‘Cannot Do it With the Players We Have’
Forest Fans React to Swansea City Defeat
Connor Roberts’ goal just before half-time proved the difference as Forest fell to their third defeat in a row.
The Swansea City forward showed more desire and determination to beat Sammy Ameobi to the ball as the half neared its end.
It came at a bad time for Forest who were beginning to show glimpses of quality in attack and threatening against Steve Cooper’s side.
But the Reds’ morale took a major hit and never looked likely to level and were left empty-handed while their opponents moved within touching distance of the Championship’s automatic promotion places.
The result, Forest’s third defeat in a row and fifth game without a victory under Hughton, leaves the Reds just two points above the relegation zone; Swansea City meanwhile, are within touching distance of the top two.
‘Only Mckenna and Taylor Are Upgrades’
Think we played alright need to be more attacking but cannot really do it with the players we have atm. #vrentzosOUT

maybe one clear cut chance… that’s it… in 90 mins… in no way did we ever look like we would get something from the game

I cannot fathom why people are blaming Hughton. Yes, he could have made a few more changes but he has inherited a mess. He will get it right given time (if) .. #nffc

We’ve signed 13 new players & truth be told only McKenna & Taylor are upgrades the others are either no better than what we already had or just poor players.
We are now seeing just how vital Cash, silva & watson really was to #nffc last season.
Be need some results & fast.

#nffc owners will have to hold hands up and admit changes have been too much in too short a period of time. Promotion is well off the table but whilst thats still demanded, the confidence will epp away game by game. You reap what you sow and this is now a season of transition.

Best bit about today was another Academy player Will Swan coming on today making he’s debut 🔴⚪️ #nffc pic.twitter.com/3rFXFfKPst

Really looking forward to forest being on sky at home against Preston and needing to win to stay out of the relegation zone on goal difference last game of the season. Pitch invasion also if we are allowed back. #nffc #NFFC
