Erling Haaland has been announced as the winner of the 2020 Golden Boy award.
The prestigious award, which is given to the best U21 footballer Europe, is decided by a panel of sports journalists across the continent.

Haaland has set the footballing world alight since his €20 million transfer to Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg last December.
The 20-year-old has scored 19 times in 21 Bundesliga matches, as well as continuing his remarkable run of scoring in every single Champions League he has played.
After scoring 44 goals in all competitions last season, Haaland has continued his superb run of form, netting 11 times in 11 matches so far in 2020/21. He also scored his first international hat-trick for Norway in a 4-0 win against Romania in October.

One of the world’s best attacking full-backs, the Canadian international registered four assists in eight appearances to help Bayern Munich become kings of Europe again.
The top five was rounded off by Jadon Sancho and Eduardo Camavinga, whilst England youngsters Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka, Mason Greenwood and Callum Hudson-Odoi all made the initial 2o-man shortlist for the award.
