Career So Far

The Cherries are the USA international’s sixth Championship loan after Jose Mourinho’s side made a late swoop for Swansea’s Joe Rodon.

Jason Tindall had been looking all summer to replace Nathan Ake who left earlier in the summer to join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

The American international has failed to establish himself at the London club, having spent time out on loan at several clubs including Sheffield United, Stoke City and Luton Town.

Defensive Options

The 22-year old joins off the back of a successful second part of the season at Luton Town last season. Tindall’s new Bournemouth side have struggled for options in defence after failing in their efforts to sign fellow Championship side Preston’s Ben Davies.

Key first-choice defenders Steven Cook and Chris Mepham are starting to return to first-team action after sustained injuries but the Cherries are suffering from depth in an important position if they are to attempt going straight back to the Premier League on the first attempt.

The Welsh centre-back was ravaged by injuries last season, needing two operations on his knees during the second half of last season, playing ten minutes in the club’s final 17 games in the top flight.

A former Bournemouth player himself, Tindall’s new three at the back system is set to be showing excellent promise. Three wins and a draw in the Championship before the international break earned Tindall a manager of the month nomination.
