Robbie Gotts has officially completed a move to League One club Lincoln City, signing on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old makes the move from Leeds United for the season in search of regular game time and, therefore, the progression eventually needed to become a star at Elland Road.

Gotts Was ‘Keen to Get Deal Done’
Speaking to the club after putting pen to paper on the deal, Gotts said: “I’m really happy to be here at Lincoln. When I got the interest of coming, I was all for it. I’m really happy to be here.”
“It’s come around quite quick, but when I heard about the interest I was really keen to get the deal done.”
The youngster will look to have an immediate impact, too, as Lincoln square off against Fleetwood in search of a fourth win from six games.
Michael Appleton Equally Pleased at Signing
Also speaking to the club website, Lincoln boss Michael Appleton gave his thoughts on the completion of the loan move, saying: “Robbie’s very versatile in terms of his ability to play in midfield or at full-back. He’s got bags of quality in possession of the ball and he’s got the energy and athleticism to get up and down the pitch too.
“Overall though he’s just another really good addition and the fact that it’s his first loan away quite excites me too because he’s desperate to impress and desperate to impress his new teammates as well.”
The completion of the deal leaves Lincoln in good stead for the season on the defensive front with Gotts a much-needed addition at the back when considering the Imps’ lack of clean sheets thus far, keeping just the four in a handful of fixtures this season.
