Following a lack of game time at Manchester United, it looks increasingly likely that Diogo Dalot will head out of the exit door at Old Trafford. According to Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan have enquired about a loan with an option to buy move for the fullback.
Manchester United, however, are reportedly keen to offload the defender on a permanent basis this window instead of the proposed loan move. Manchester United’s willingness to make a permanent deal happen could see Milan step away from a potential deal with a loan deal, with the option to buy, the reported prefered transfer in Italy.
Milan Want Dalot Loan
Chance to Raise Much-Needed Funds for Manchester United?
Manchester United’s lack of funds has been no secret this summer. The Manchester club have seemingly been priced out of a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, and have failed in their pursuit for further reinforcements following the arrival of Donny van de Beek.
Should Dalot complete a move away from Old Trafford, however, then Manchester United could raise some much-needed funds in the process. Dalot’s sale, should Manchester United see it through, could have a great impact on where Manchester United finish come the end of the season.
Further Milan Improvement?
For the first time in what seems like forever, AC Milan have every right to be positive ahead of the long Serie A season. So far, the Italian giants have won two in two and look more capable than ever of securing a Champions League return.
Now, with Dalot linked with a move, they have the chance for further improvement. Dalot could add that extra edge to the Milan side in both the defensive third and attacking thirds of the pitch. His attacking ability, in particular, is a well-documented trait of his and one Milan will be desperate to add to their side.
