Sky Bet League Two side Forest Green Rovers have completed a deal with Greenock Morton for winger Nicky Cadden.
Nicky Cadden: Forest Green Rovers Add Scottish Championship Winger
Winger Crosses Border
The 23-year-old has completed a move from the Scottish Championship side to join Rovers.
The former Livingstone and Ayr United left-winger is to enjoy his first taste of English football with FGR.
The Scotsman scored five goals, and added nine assists, in 22 Championship appearances this term for the Ton.
On completing the transfer, Richard Hughes, Director of Football, said: “Nicky’s an explosive, dynamic player in the final third of the pitch with an ability to score goals and a positive impact on the game.
“He’s got considerable power and pace too, and I know fans will enoy watching him play.”
Greenock Morton were seventh in the Championship when Scottish football was suspended.
While the winger was offered a new two-year deal with the Ton, he has opted for a cross-border move.
What to Expect From Cadden
While there is little known about Cadden, the disappointment by Ton fans in allowing him to depart suggests an apparent value.
He comes as one of a number of players to depart for new chapters; however, several supporters were keen for the winger to remain at Cappielow Park.
Sad to see him go but it’s a short career and he must make the most of it while he can.

Should have got ride of some players just to sign him. Examples McLean, Millar, mcginty, muirhead, ramsbottom. Don’t want to see any of them next season.
