Out of form Leicester City travel to Everton in an exciting-looking fixture this Wednesday. The Foxes will be looking to register their first victory since the restart. On the other hand, the Toffees will try to build on their win last week at Norwich City.

Everton Hoping For Comfortable Finish
Currently, Everton sit in 12th place, with seventh-placed Tottenham Hotspur just four points ahead. The Toffees could give their European hopes a massive boost if they can pick up all three points against third-placed Leicester City this Wednesday. Everton have picked up four points in the two matches since the restart. They have only scored once in those two games though so their attacking play needs to improve.
The fact that Carlo Ancelotti’s men have had a week’s rest whereas Leicester City will be playing just three days after their FA Cup semifinal defeat to Chelsea, will definitely help the toffees.
Leicester City Looking to Bounce Back
Since the restart, Leicester City have failed to register a single win. They have only scored once in the three matches as well. Worryingly for them, Jamie Vardy is not looking as sharp as before. James Maddison is probably out of the match as well. Brendan Rodgers needs to try and stop the slide as soon as possible.
In the Premier League, the Foxes have only won once in the last five matches. The gap between them and fifth-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers is now down to just three points. Both Wolves and Manchester United look in ominous form. If Leicester’s results remain poor, they might miss out on Champions League football. That would be a devastating blow for them after being in the top three for so long.
Team News
Everton could welcome Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph back into the fold for the first time since lockdown. However, Carlo Ancelotti will probably go with the same starting XI that started at Carrow Road.
With James Maddison out, Dennis Praet should get the nod in midfield. One has to wonder about the fitness of those players that played the full 90 minutes against Chelsea though.
Prediction
A tricky one to call. A 1-1 draw is probably the most likely outcome but it could go either way.
