After helping to secure Bayern Munich’s eighth Bundesliga title in a row, Kingsley Coman has entered the world of the elite when it comes to trophy collections. The Frenchman has now won a total of 18 trophies, including nine league titles in three different countries.
The Ultimate Trophy Collector: Kingsley Coman
Three Clubs, 18 Trophies
To put it simply, the Bayern winger is the modern-day trophy collector in football. Whether it be in France, Italy or Germany, Coman has always managed to secure a collection of trophies as a souvenir. Perhaps the most impressive and almost unbelievable statistic of them all, however, is that he has never failed to win a league title; every season that he has played in, he has won the league title.
In his two season’s at Paris Saint-Germain, Coman won two league titles; in two seasons at Juventus, he won two Serie A titles; and now, after five seasons at Bayern Munich, he has won five Bundesliga titles. By the time he retires, Coman could go down as one of the most successful players of all time despite not being the most talented, giving him a unique place in history.
The Chance to Take His Success to England?
We could see the Frenchman bring his mix of luck, success and ability to secure the biggest of moves to the Premier League soon, too, with Leroy Sane reportedly ready to swap Manchester for Munich. The move, if completed, would certainly give Coman plenty to think about as he looks to keep out the threat of the German who plays in his position. As Sane returns to his homeland, the chance may open up for Coman to become the German’s replacement at Manchester City– another club he is almost guaranteed to win trophies with.
Either way, whether it’s in Manchester, Munich or with another one of Europe’s elites that Coman has always found himself playing for, expect the Frenchman to keep on winning and adding to what is an unprecedented trophy collection at just 24-years-old.
