Sammy Ameobi has extended his stay at the City Ground for a further 12 months.
According to BBC Radio Nottingham, the winger has signed a deal to keep his services in the Midlands until the end of the 2020-21 season.
The winger’s current deal was set to expire later this month, but Sabri Lamouchi – who himself is yet to agree a contract extension – has retained one of his key midfield players.
Ameobi has made 38 appearances in all competitions – contributing three goals and eight assists.

Forest fans have turned to Twitter to celebrate the contract news.
The winger joined Forest from Bolton Wanderers in July 2019 and Reds supporters have been impressed with his performances across the past 12 months.

Wasn’t his biggest fan, but he’s grown on me, but seems like good business all round again from forest.

1yr extension is perfect really for him. He’s unpredictable, can produce, but can also look like a baby giraffe. So it keeps him on his toes to keep producing to earn his next deal.
