According to French outfit L’Equipe, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are on the lookout for a new left-back. The idea is to push Juan Bernat and Layvin Kurzawa and challenge them for the first-team spot. Alex Telles would be the perfect fit for PSG’s left flank as he contains both attacking and defensive qualities any big team would require. Rumour has it Telles is keen on a switch to France.
Alex Telles Set for a Big Move to Paris?
With PSG coming out on top once more this season donning a star-studded squad consisting of Neymar Jr, Kylian Mbappe and more technically gifted footballers, they will look to add to the quality primarily to challenge more for the Champions League.
The idea of signing Alex Telles would have the ambition of strengthening the left side of the team going forward and defending at the same time.

Marquinhos and Thiago Silva are the two mainstays of the PSG defence no doubt. Both hailing from Brazil, a country where football is worshipped, Alex Telles would be a quality fit. Communication in the defence is usually key to outsmarting the opposing attack and dominating the play at the back- which will ultimately lead to winning games.
The Factors of the Move
There have been no agreements between PSG and Porto just yet, but PSG are said to be confident of landing the Brazilian international. A €30 million fee is said to be what Porto are wanting from the Parisians.
According to French outlet, Paris United, PSG have recorded a bid of €25 million.
Player Analysis
Alex Telles is said to be a balanced full-back. Donning both attacking and defensive qualities, he’s been one of the standout performers of the Portuguese Liga NOS. Eight goals and five assists in 23 games are what made up his season. Although primarily a left-back, he is also capable of playing on the left-wing.
He has experience of playing in the Turkish Super Lig, and the Serie A. His time with Inter Milan in 2015/16 was a brief one before returning to Galatasaray from the loan. He was then shipped off to Porto where he plies his trade now.
