AS Roma are lining up a move for Chelsea winger Pedro once his contract runs out in the summer, according to Darren Lewis of the Daily Mirror.
The Italian giants are rumoured to have a bid in place for the 32-year-old, one which would see him net £2.7m a year – plus bonuses – at the Stadio Olimpico.

Move Away From Stamford Bridge
Pedro recently confirmed in March that he would be more than likely leaving Chelsea in the summer, having spent the past five years in South West London.
The Spaniard was signed by Jose Mourinho in the summer of 2015 for a reported fee of £21 million. He’s went on to make over 200 appearances for the Blues, lifting the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League during his stay in England.
However, due to the arrival of Ajax star Hakim Ziyech this summer, Pedro has been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. The winger struggled for game time under Frank Lampard, making just nine appearances in the Premier League this term.
Next Move For Pedro
AS Roma currently lead the way for Pedro’s signature this summer, with reports suggesting that the club have already offered the wide man a move away from Chelsea.
The Serie A side aren’t the only club interested in the Spaniard’s services however, as there has also been reported interest from the MLS for the World Cup winner.
It remains to be seen where Pedro will end up playing his football next season, and if any other clubs will join the battle for his services.
Fellow Departures
As well as Pedro, both Willian and Olivier Giroud’s contracts at Stamford Bridge run out this summer, as Chelsea risk losing the trio for nothing.
Willian has attracted interest from Quique Setein’s Barcelona in recent months, but a move to Spain could fall through due to the Brazilian’s wage demands.
Meanwhile, reports are suggesting that Chelsea have opened talks on a new contract with Giroud, in the hope of tying him down for a further year.
Both Tottenham Hostpur and Lazio have looked into the possibility of signing the Frenchman on a free, however the Blues are hoping to keep hold of their striker.
