Birmingham City fans took to Twitter to react to their 0-0 draw with Coventry City in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round.
Birmingham City Fans React to FA Cup Draw With Coventry City
‘Diabolical Performance’
In what was a unique experience at St Andrew’s, Coventry City hosted their landlords, Birmingham City.
The Sky Blues have been ground-sharing with their West Midlands rivals since the start of the season following problems with their previous Ricoh Arena home.
Coventry City overcame Bristol Rovers in a Third Round replay in order to ‘host’ the peculiar affair.
Birmingham City boss Pep Clotet had labelled it a strange fixture in the build-up to kick-off as Blues were made to occupy the away changing room and away designated seating.
However, Blues fans were left mostly frustrated as they failed to overcome their lower-league rivals; instead, taking the fixture to a replay at, you guessed it, St Andrew’s in the near future.
Here’s what Birmingham City fans said on Twitter after full-time.
Let’s be honest, blues fans deserve better than this, teams as bad as the likes of Reading with shite support, no history no soul have better stability than us, bad result today looked strong on paper n all, o well #KRO

Today has really pissed me off. We were awful. I’m not blaming the players for it either. The blame lays completely with the management. No shape, no balance, no pace, no drive, no game plan. Just turn up and hope we nick a goal. It simply isn’t good enough #bcfc

Sigh. Yet another inept performance from both the players and Pep. It was one of the worst games of football I have watched Blues play. Dare I say it, lazy and lacklustre. Fans deserve so much better #EmiratesFACup #bcfc
