Coventry City fans took to Twitter to react to their 0-0 draw with Birmingham City in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round.
Coventry City Fans React to FA Cup Draw With Birmingham City
‘It’s Not Over’, ‘Performed Fantastically’
In what was a unique experience at St Andrew’s, Coventry City hosted their landlords, Birmingham City.
The Sky Blues have been ground-sharing with their West Midlands rivals since the start of the season following problems with their previous Ricoh Arena home.
Coventry City overcame Bristol Rovers in a Third Round replay in order to ‘host’ the peculiar affair.
With a temporary home 22 miles away from their namesake base, Coventry City fans found the humorous side of drawing Blues in the Cup and, for some it was even better, holding them to a 0-0 draw.
Here’s what Coventry City fans said on Twitter after full-time.
How we drew today is beyond me! @MaxBiamou and @CalOhare changed the game completely! Different quality today, what a squad we’ve got #PUSB

Decent game today, think Cov just edged it. Thought Hyam, Dabo, McFadzean and Walsh were excellent. But how did O’Hare miss that chance at the end, gutted ? Anyway onto the replay at…St Andrews ?? #PUSB

Cov 0-0 BCFC . FA Cup 4th Rd. A confident performance and some fantastic passing all game. They couldn’t handle the pressing and one touch passages of play. Could have taken it in the 89th but O’Hare took his eye off the tap in. #PUSB #skyblues #ccfc pic.twitter.com/0liDYWi9vw

Good to see the sky blues mixing it with higher league opposition today. Should have won really but good to see and hopefully we will only grow in confidence and continue to do well #PUSB ?

Will take that result against a Championship team in very unique circumstances. If the replay is not a TV game, then @BBC and @btsport should be ashamed #PUSB https://t.co/RAcSrQxipv

Enjoyed the game today. We performed fantastically and genuinely should have came out of that game as winners after the chances towards the end we had. The back 3 were solid, dank was great and kelly and Walsh were running the show. Still in the hat for the next round!! #PUSB

On the upcoming replay…
Last thing cov needed was another game to add to our already packed fixture list. But were still in the hat so let’s hope we get a big team, away and make the reply worth winning! #pusb

Anyone reckon the replay will be on telly? #pusb #ccfc

Its not over, that ball will end up in the back of the net in the replay. We had our heads held high today. Bring it on and we’ll go again! #pusb
