Nottingham Forest fans have reacted to their 1-1 Sky Bet Championship draw with Reading at the City Ground.
Nottingham Forest Fans React to Draw With Reading
Dropped Points
Forest came into the fixture knowing a victory would send them to within a touching distance of the automatic promotion spots.
The first half saw few chances for either side; although Joe Lolley proved again to be Forest’s most creative player on the pitch as he continually looked to carve an opening.
It took until the 80th minute for the deadlock to be broken.
Lewis Grabban scored what he thought to be the winning goal just ten minutes from time as he slid home Sammy Ameobi’s misplaced shot.
But substitute Sam Baldock lashed home from close range to seal a share of the spoils six minutes from the end.
The Reds’ draw with the Royals leaves them four points behind second-placed Leeds United – three points behind top-of-the-league West Brom.
Here’s what Nottingham Forest fans had to say following the hard-earned victory.
Personally, I thought we looked clueless around the box again. Whilst another striker is important, adding creativity in the middle of the pitch is necessary if we’re to have any hope of going up #nffc

18 cup finals to come. All to play for. After the last few disappointing seasons this is the best opportunity we have had for ages to secure a play off spot or even better automatic promotion. All #nffc fans can do is get behind the team at every match. https://t.co/XR6Ck9gPhj

Think some need to calm down;
Unbeaten in 6 league games!
Unbeaten in 2020!
A point gained on the league (exc Reading)
Still got to play 3 teams above!
Still In January window!
Still lots to be positive about and a long LONG way to go!
Chill out! Get behind them!#nffc

Absolutely spot on. Winning tonight didn’t win us promotion & drawing won’t mean we miss out. A good strong performance against the in form side in the league. #nffc https://t.co/2JT5NIyn9p

Disappointed with the result today took the lead and conceded a couple of minutes later just wasn’t our night, Good football though lads just unlucky, reading didn’t deserve it #COYR #NFFC

4th inthe league and Grabban on fire even with limited chances. Big games coming up in the next 5 against Brentford,Leeds & West Brom with two away which tends to suit us plus Leeds at home where we seem to always do well.Exciting times which have been few in recent seasons #nffc
