Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye is nearing a January move to Turkish side Trabzonspor, according to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider.

Jetting Out
The midfielder is reportedly jetting out to Turkey to undergo a medical and to sign paperwork on a move.
Ndiaye is heading to Turkey to sign on loan for the remainder of the season; his deal could then turn permanent next summer.
It will allow O’Neill greater freedom with his wage bill, with Ndiaye reportedly one of the club’s highest earners.
His £14 million move from Galatasaray last year made him the club’s third-most-expensive ever signing.
The 29-year-old will leave on a temporary basis until the end of the season, with the potential for his switch to turn permanent.
Football Insider claim Trabzonspor have beaten Schalke and Mainz to sign the central midfielder on loan.
Turbulent Time
Ndiaye has had a turbulent time at the bet365 Stadium this season.
The Senegalese international rejuvenated his career last term, helping Galatasaray to win the Super Lig.
Ndiaye has made 13 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for Stoke City this year.
However, he has only started one game since Michael O’Neill took over from Nathan Jones as manager in November.
He joined Stoke City from Galatasaray for £14 million last year.
The Potters have been preparing for Ndiaye’s exit; the midfielder has failed to make the squad for the club’s last two Championship outings.
