Leeds United and Swansea are looking at Curtis Jones in order to boost their promotion pushes, according to Goal.
The Championship duo have had successful starts to their respective campaigns, but the addition of the young Red may bolster their chances.
Jones has impressed for Jurgen Klopp’s side in a handful of appearances, earning plaudits from James Milner.
Milner, a legend at Leeds United, has reiterated his view that Jones is one to watch for the future.
“I’ve seen a massive difference in Curtis in the last year,” he said.
“He’s always had that ability but seems a bit more mature now; he’s defending well, getting his angles right when he’s defending.”
“I think he’s realised as well that if you want to play for Liverpool, that’s as important as the stuff on the ball.” he added.
“Not only that, he’s got so much ability and skills and tricks, and it’s about using them in the right area.”
Jones has displayed all the qualities of being an impressive midfielder.
The tall 18-year-old provides a physical presence on the ball and has shown maturity and a high level of in-game intelligence.
Jones impressed against MK Dons in the Carabao Cup; he scored the winner in the fourth-round penalty shootout against Arsenal.
Teenage talent Jones has scored 13 goals in 18 appearances for the Liverpool reserves.
