Fantasy Premier League Gameweek Seven Picks
Goalkeepers
Kasper Schmeichel (£5.0) is the standout keeper option this week with a home game against Newcastle United. Not too many FPL managers have him so could be a nice differential.
Mathew Ryan could be one for the brave. He is expected to make a lot of saves against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Former teammates Nick Pope and Tom Heaton go head to head at Villa Park this week. This is a tough one to call. Will Aston Villa play out another goalless draw at home?
Defenders
Çaglar Söyüncü (£4.6) could be a great option this week as he has a good chance of keeping a clean sheet.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.1) has great attacking threat and takes set-pieces as well. He is a must-have in this game.
Midfielders
Kevin De Bruyne (£9.9) had a blinder last week against Watford at home. Manchester City may not score eight every week but Everton players must be dreading the thought of facing the Cityzens.
Raheem Sterling (£12.1) was rested last week and played 70 minutes in midweek in the EFL Cup. Will Pep rest him again? Importantly, Bernardo Silva played the whole game on Tuesday. So, one should expect Sterling to start along with Riyad Mahrez. Then again, who knows.
Mohamed Salah (£12.5) and Sadio Mané (£11.6) could both do well in any week. Sheffield United away could be tricky though.
Mason Mount (£6.6) could have a big game at home to Brighton.
Son Heung-min (£9.7) is quite pricy but has a decent looking home fixture. Southampton do have the ability to make things tricky for Spurs though.
John McGinn (£5.7) has been pretty impressive so far and has a decent home fixture against Burnley.
Strikers
Tammy Abraham (£7.5) has changed a few minds this season. He has another chance to impress this week as Chelsea take on Brighton at Stamford Bridge.
Sergio Agüero (£12.1) was not even part of the squad in midweek. He is a must-have this week considering his form.
Roberto Firmino (£9.6) has been in sublime form this season with three goals and four assists so far. He could have another good game.
Chris Wood (£6.2) scored a brace last week. The Newzealand striker scored six of his ten goals within a span of eight matches last season. Is he going to make a similar run this time? He is available at a very cheap price for a regular starter.
Tottenham Hotspur fans will look to Harry Kane (£11.0) to provide them with some happiness this week after the midweek debacle.
