In this Everton FPL preview, let’s look at the fantasy assets of the Toffees. This article will focus primarily on the first six fixtures.
Everton FPL Preview: Fixtures and Picks
Inconsistency was an issue for Marco Silva’s men throughout the 2018/19 campaign. Their squad has seen some changes during the summer. Defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye has left for Paris Saint-Germain, Kurt Zouma has returned to his parent club Chelsea, and Ademola Lookman was sold to RB Leipzig. However, Everton have brought in Moise Kean in a really exciting transfer for their fans. Jean-Philippe Gbamin has come in as well to replace Gueye. Fabian Delph was signed from Manchester City whereas André Gomes made his loan move from Barcelona permanent.
First Six Fixtures
Crystal Palace (A) | Watford (H) | Aston Villa (A) | Wolves (H) | Bournemouth (A) | Sheffield United (H)
Everton have a great set of fixtures to start their season with. They avoid facing any of the top six sides in the first six gameweeks. Hence, every FPL manager should look very closely at the Everton fantasy assets.
Best Fantasy Assets
Gylfi Sigurdsson (£8.0) was the top-scorer for Everton last season. The Icelander is deadly from set-pieces and can also score from long range in open play. He is a great pick for the first six gameweeks.
Lucas Digne (£6.0) is probably an essential pick from Everton for the first few games. He has a great left foot and can score from free-kicks as well. With the new signing Moise Kean around, the potential for assists is even greater.
Moise Kean (£7.0) could be an absolute beast for Everton. He was amazing for Juventus and it is quite shocking that they have allowed him to leave. Everton have acquired a real gem. One would expect Kean to score a fair few goals this season. He is available at a really nice price as well. Will he hit the ground running from the very first match? Certainly, he is one to watch.
Richarlison (£8.0) has a habit of getting blistering starts in the season. Considering the kind early fixtures Everton have, he could be a great option.
Seamus Coleman (£5.5) has been overshadowed a bit by Lucas Digne. However, he is also a decent option at 0.5 units less.
Differentials
Yerry Mina and Michael Keane (£5.5) will likely be the first choice CB pairing this season. They are both decent options but probably priced 0.5 units too high for most FPL managers.
