Cutrone Leaves AC Milan with Heavy Heart

It has been an intense period negotiating this Patrick Cutrone transfer for Nuno Espirito Santo, the Wolves boss, to get this deal over the line. The 21-year-old had been reluctant to leave his boyhood club but a deal has now been completed. Cutrone scored 27 goals in 90 appearances for the Rossoneri.

The striker had been with Milan on their pre-season tour the USa but was granted time to discuss a move to the Premier League.

Fire Power

Both Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro have been allowed to leave Molineaux this season, leaving them short of attacking options. It is due to this that Nuno was desperate to get the Patrick Cutrone done.

What Can Wolves Expect from Patrick Cutrone Transfer?

Cutrone is considered to be an old fashioned number nine. He is physically strong, good in the air and noted for intelligent movement in and around the box.

For Italy, he has occasionally been used as a left-winger. It is as a central striker that he causes the most damage, however. Wolves will be looking to him to lead the front line and score the goals lost as a consequence of the departures of the aforementioned Costa and Cavaleiro to Leeds United and Fulham respectively.
