Other Key Games
The opening month will see the Dons face another of the sides that came up from League Two with them as Lincoln City visit Stadium MK. Meanwhile, the first home game will be against Shrewsbury Town and there will also be the short trip through Buckinghamshire to play Wycombe Wanderers.
The month will close with the big game against Peterborough United and then with a trip up north to face Accrington Stanley.
The first of two games against AFC Wimbledon will take place at home on Saturday, September 7, with the return fixture on April 18. September will see huge games at home to Ipswich and away to Sunderland.
Boxing Day sees the Dons make the trip to Southend United while other festive games include Gillingham away and Portsmouth at home.
The season closes with a home game against Blackpool while, on the final day, the Dons will visit Ipswich Town.
Preparations for the new season have been underway at the club for some time, with five new signings coming through the door. As well as those new additions, Kieran Agard signed a new contract with the club to ensure his fourth season with the club will be the third at League One level.
