World Transfer Rumours
Arsenal Eye Russian
Sky Sports are reporting that Arsenal are interested in Russian striker Fedor Chalov. The 21-year-old CSKA Moscow forward had an impressive season. He was the top scorer in Russia, scoring 15 goals in 30 appearances. His career so far has seen Chalov score against Arsenal in the Europa League and against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Monaco and Sevilla are also interested in the international striker. Chalov made his senior debut for CSKA in 2016. He has gone on to score 27 goals in 65 games. He has also represented his country on two occasions.
PSG Want De Gea
Having announced the departure of Gianluigi Buffon, Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on David de Gea according to the Times. The Spaniard is out of contract next summer and can agree a deal with another club from January. However, it is unlikely PSG will want to wait and could bid for him this summer.
United do not want to sell; however, negotiations over a new contract have stalled. Therefore, should a big-money bid be received from PSG, United could find it hard to resist. De Gea has been rumoured to be leaving Old Trafford for several seasons. Could this summer be the one where he moves on?
Barcelona Chasing Bayern Defender
Reports in Spain are suggesting that Spanish champions Barcelona want Joshua Kimmich. Bayern Munich are not interested in selling the 24-year-old right-back; however, this is unlikely to deter the Catalan giants.
The German international is regarded as one of, if not the best, right-backs in the world.
Should Nelson Semedo leave Barca, then Bayern could face a battle to keep their player. Kimmich has played over 170 games since his debut in 2015 and is considered a key player. Whether Bayern can resist a huge over should it come is up for debate.
Juventus Winning Race for Koulibaly?
Sought after Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly could have a tough decision to make soon. The Mirror report that Juventus have made contact with Koulibaly’s representatives in a bid to win the race for his signature. However, they will face tough competition.
Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester United are all interested. United are desperate to sign defensive reinforcements this summer and Koulibaly fits the bill. A bid from United in light of Juventus’s interest is now likely. Napoli do not want to sell, but could find it difficult to turn down the huge amount of money that could be submitted any time now.
