FTN: Ramsey, Yerry Mina, Mitrovic, Pulisic and Hazard Latest
Aaron Ramsey to Chelsea?
With less than one year remaining on his Arsenal deal, Aaron Ramsey may be ready to leave the Emirates. Contract negotiations are ongoing, however, Chelsea are considering a £30 million move if talks break down.
Meanwhile, new Arsenal head coach Unai Emery is confident the Welsh international will stay. Ramsey even captained the Gunners for 45 minutes against PSG in the International Champions Cup.
If no new deal is agreed, the north London club may see Aaron Ramsey leave for free next summer, same as Jack Wilshere recently.
United Turn to Yerry Mina
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has accepted the fact he will not be able to sign England international Harry Maguire this window. Manchester United are simply not ready to meet Leicester’s £60 million valuation for the defender.
Therefore, Barcelona’s Yerry Mina is fixed firmly in Mourinho’s crosshairs. United will reportedly offer £35 million to entice the Catalonians to part ways with the Colombian. With Barcelona’s recent capture of Clement Lenglet, Yerry Mina may be surplus to requirement.
Although offers of £50 million have already been rejected, the defender may try to force a move for less. Yerry Mina is a known admirer of the Premier League, and keen to play for Manchester United.
Mitrovic to Fulham Nearly Done
Aleksandr Mitrovic is swapping Newcastle for London permanently. The Magpies, although initially reluctant to sell, have agreed a £22 million price tag with Fulham for the striker, although the fee could rise to £27 million with potential add-ons.
Mitrovic spent the last half of the previous campaign at Craven Cottage, scoring 12 goals in 20 appearances. While he impressed in the Championship, as Newcastle the striker managed just 17 strikes in 72 matches. The transfer is still subject to a medical.
Pulisic to Leave Dortmund?
Although not keen to sell Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund may see their hand forced this summer. The 19-year-old American wonderkid has two years remaining on his contract but may not wish to sign a new deal. His exploits at the German club have attracted attention from a plethora of top clubs.
However, any potential suitors would have to meet a €70 million valuation of the player. Interested parties include Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Liverpool. With Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus now complete, Real Madrid may also consider a move.
Eden Hazard to Stay at Chelsea
Speaking of Real Madrid, they have cooled their interest in Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard. The Belgian’s contract runs until 2020, and Hazard has not yet signed a new deal worth a reported £300,000 per week.
However, the Blues still value Hazard at a record-breaking £200 million, about £50 million more than the Spanish giants wish to pay. The Galacticos have, therefore, decided to give up their pursuit for now.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will offer Hazard the club captaincy in an effort to keep him in London.
