Latest on Alassane Plea, Ronaldo, Martial and Willian
Plea Deal?
West Ham, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle are all interested in Nice forward Alassane Plea. The former French U-21 star scored 16 times in Ligue 1 last season. Plea is reportedly keen to test himself outside of France. The striker is valued at around £25 million by the French club, which is very reasonable in the current transfer market.
Ronaldo to Turin?
Italian giants Juventus are interested in taking Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to the Serie A. The Real Madrid star is considering his future at Madrid, following the resignation of manager Zinedine Zidane. Juventus are desperate to finally win a Champions League trophy and have identified the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to be the catalyst to finally break their European duct.
Bayern Munich Join Race For Martial
Bayern Munich have joined the race for Manchester United’s French star Anthony Martial. The forward has become frustrated due to his lack of game time at Old Trafford and now wishes to leave Manchester. The 22-year-old was omitted from the French World Cup squad for the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia. The former Monaco player’s lack of game time last season is rumoured to have played a part in Didier Deschamps’ decision to leave him out. United would rather sell Martial abroad than to a direct rival in England. Juventus and Tottenham are both heavily interested in the player.
Is Willian La Liga Bound?
FC Barcelona are looking to bring Brazil international Willian to Spain. The Catalonian side are eager to add to their squad after missing out on French striker Antoine Griezmann. The Chelsea attacker is also coveted by Manchester United. Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is eager to be reunited with Willian.
