Latest On Neymar, Pastore, Alisson and van Aanholt
Neymar
The transfer news around Neymar is not going away. The player is linked with a big money move – not that he is ever involved in small amounts of money – to Real Madrid. Now, a return to Barcelona is also touted. Barcelona had wanted to sign Antoine Griezmann, but he has committed his future to Atletico Madrid. 12 months after Neymar sensationally left Barcelona, the player is being offered a return to the Catalan giants.
Pastore
Manuel Pellegrini feels West Ham’s issues stem from a lack of balance throughout the squad. He wants to rectify that this summer, saying that he feels frustrated in the transfer window.
PSG’s Javier Pastore is a player Pellegrini admires. West Ham are in advanced talks with the 28-year-old, according to Sky Sports.
Alisson
Liverpool are in the market for a new keeper and are tracking Roma stopper Alisson. He is under contract to the Italian club until 2021. Real Madrid have offered £52 million for the player, though Roma are holding out for £70 million. Chelsea reportedly hold interest in the player, but with possible financial issues, £70 million may no longer be in their range. Liverpool remain interested but Madrid favourites for the transfer.
Van Aanholt
Intriguing transfer news comes from Crystal Palace. If Alex Sandro moves to Manchester United, Juventus have earmarked a £25 million bid for Patrick van Aanholt. This would constitute a remarkable transfer for the Netherlands player. Roy Hodgson wants to boost his squad and the funds would be welcome. The sale could be enough to keep suitors away from prized asset, Wilfred Zaha.
