2018 World Cup: Colombia Has Enough Talent To Make A Great Run
Colombia is going to do whatever it takes to win their first World Cup trophy ever. Of course, this year is particularly difficult because there are probably seven teams stronger than them.
However, Colombia can manage to go further than they did in Brazil in 2014, when they reached the quarter-final for the first time in their history.
To achieve that goal, they need to trust each other and not only give the responsibility to James and Falcao.

The worst news about this squad is the Frank Fabras’ injury. The starter defender tore his ACL and will miss the tournament.
Pekerman chose Farid Díaz as Fabra’s replacement.
Fabras’ injury was a terrible news, but Colombia still has enough talent to reach at least the second round again as long as they stay mentally strong. Although, for to win the title they have to battle first in their group, which is considered to be one of the hardest in the World Cup.
Group Stage
Colombia is in Group H alongside Poland, Senegal, and Japan.
Tough match-ups await “The Cafeteros.” After all, they should keep in mind that they probably will face either Belgium or England in the Round of 16.
In general, Colombia has a compact midfield with Cuadrado, Muriel, and James that can bother any defense.
Falcao’s presence in the box is a guarantee and the center-back defenders Yerry Minas and Davidson Sánchez make Colombia a complete team.
