Best NBA Player Props | Tuesday, Jan. 31

Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 32.5 Points

Milwaukee and Giannis were embarrassed in Charlotte on Jan. 6. They lost by 29 and Antetokounmpo was limited to nine points. The Hornets are too far down the Eastern Conference standings to live in the minds of the Bucks, but it would be natural to want a taste of payback.

There is certainly blowout potential in this spot – the Bucks are laying 11 points. Milwaukee trails Boston by 2.5 games for the conference’s top seed though. They’ll want to ensure they bag a win that is there for the taking. Giannis is shooting 62.4% on 21.3 shot attempts over his last four – all wins — and a massive performance is in the forecast.

Kawhi Leonard Over 26.5 Points

Leonard has been very efficient of late, averaging 29.3 points on 56.7% shooting from the field over his last 10. That includes converting 2.4 of 5.2 (46.2%) three-point attempts.

We’re not worried about him performing on the road. He’s shooting and scoring better away from Crypto.com Arena this season. The Clippers have won the last five games that Leonard has played, including four as guests. Look for Leonard to continue producing tonight with a healthy dose of volume.

Evan Mobley Under 23.5 Points + Rebounds

Mobley has enjoyed some quality performances in recent games, including a 38-point outburst on January 21. We’re siding with the Under in this spot nonetheless. Two things in particular will work against Mobley tonight.

The first is the presence of both Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell. When both are active, Mobley simply doesn’t see the shot volume necessary to post big scoring totals. Number two is the iceberg pace at which this game will be played, theoretically limiting the number of rebounds available for Mobley to collect.

Nikola Jokic Triple Double

We don’t recommend chasing plus-money plays, but we’re going to highlight this one for those who have a little extra tolerance for the risk/reward of long odds.

Jokic is averaging a triple-double across his last 10 games and recorded one in six of his last eight. We don’t know the degree to which players follow MVP chatter day-to-day, but Jokic was overshadowed by fellow big man Joel Embiid on national TV over the weekend. It’s human nature to want to flush away a relatively poor performance.

Both Jokic and the Nuggets play better at home, where they’re 7-point favorites tonight against the Pelicans tonight.
