Timberwolves vs. Nuggets Best NBA Player Props Tonight

Nikola Jokic Over 22.5 Rebounds + Assists

We’re promoting this pick under the assumption that Rudy Gobert (groin) sits tonight. Jokic is a fair play here nonetheless, but without Gobert in the fold, he could threaten the Over with rebounds alone.

Jokic is dominating in the rebound and assist departments per usual. He combined for 23 boards and dimes in four of his last five and six of 10. The Nuggets, -8.5, are on a seven-game win streak and are 20-3 at home, so we expect them to play well as a unit around Jokic.

Kyle Anderson Over 9.5 Rebounds + Assists

Anderson is serving well in the role of glue guy and quietly filling the stat sheet. Like Jokic’s Over, this play is suggested under the assumption that Gobert sits. Without Gobert’s rebounding prowess in the middle, Anderson should be able to enjoy more activity on the glass.

He corralled 10 rebounds on Monday as part of his first triple-double of the season, and will have the opportunity to get busy on the glass again. We’re assuming star guard Anthony Edwards (hip) does play. His presence will allow Anderson to generate the necessary assists for an Over – he recorded at least five dimes in five of his last seven.

D’Angelo Russell Under 2.5 Threes

Russell is shooting well of late from three-point range (45.9% over last seven). However, he’s not shooting with enough volume (5.3 attempts over the same span) for us to confidently anticipate three conversions from distance.

Assuming Edwards (18.8 FGA per game) and Naz Reid (14.8 as starter) are in the starting five, Russell will spend more time guiding the ship and facilitating than launching threes.
