Hawks vs. Mavericks Best NBA Player Props Tonight

Luka Doncic Over 18.5 Assists + Rebounds

The Mavs are in the midst of losing four of five and five of seven. However, they’re a short favorite at home, where they are 16-6. This current skid calls for Doncic to play the role of “stopper”. That means padding the non-scoring columns in the stat sheet.

Doncic sat the Mavs’ most recent contest to rest his ankle, so he should be fresh and primed for 40-plus minutes of action. He’s averaging 11.2 rebounds and 9.2 assists over his last nine games, and combined for at least 19 in five.

Trae Young Under 12.5 Rebounds + Assists

Young’s rebounding is already modest overall, but the Hawks will head into action with a full complement of bigs. Additionally, the Mavericks’ slow pace will, in theory, limit the number of shot attempts and rebounding opportunities.

Given Young’s light production on the glass, the onus is on him to rack up the assists. He’s certainly capable of doing that, but we’re asking for double-figure dimes, something he’s “only” done three times in his last nine.

John Collins Under 21.5 Points + Rebounds

The Hawks have their top rebounders in the fold, with Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu set to log plenty of minutes. Collins is only averaging 6.7 boards over his last six and is fifth in line for shot attempts.

While Collins did hit the Over in three of his last six contests, he’s only averaging 29 minutes, 10.7 points, and 5.3 rebounds across the Hawks’ current three-game win streak. It’s certainly a small sample, but the formula is working at the moment.

Christian Wood Over 1.5 Steals + Blocks

Wood will make this easy on us if he simply swats two shots – he’s blocking 2.4 attempts per game over his last 10 and the Hawks attempt the most two-point field goals in the league.

He only has two steals total over that 10-game span, but he has demonstrated an ability to get his hands on the ball. All eyes will be focused on Doncic as the Mavericks try to halt their skid, but Wood shoulders plenty of responsibility as well.
