NHL Prop Bets Wednesday, Nov. 30: Matthews, Marner Stay Hot

It’s a light night in the NHL, but there are still plenty of props for the picking. Here are our best bets from legal US NHL betting sites.

Mitchell Marner Over 2.5 Shots

Mitch Marner is white hot. The 25-year-old winger is on a torrid pace this year and has registered at least one point in 17 straight games. Primarily a playmaker, Marner is starting to shoot the puck.

He had a season-high eight shots two games ago and followed that up with three against Detroit on Monday. The Leafs host a middling Sharks team that surrenders 30.6 shots per game. Look for Marner to continue to fire away.

Dylan Larkin Over 2.5 Shots

The Red Wings’ leading scorer doesn’t have a problem getting the puck on the net. You have to go back to Nov. 10 for the last time Larkin had fewer than three shots on goal. In his previous three games, he’s peppered opposing goalies with 19 on target.

Look for the former first-round pick to notch three or more shots for the ninth time in his last ten games. On the season, Larkin is averaging 4.2 shots per game.

Adam Fox Over 0.5 Assists

It’s not often that a defenseman is a team’s leading scorer. Fox leads the Rangers with 25 points thanks to his playmaking ability from the blue line. The D-man has at least one assist in nine of his last 11 games.

Fox is the quarterback of New York’s power play and should be able to take advantage of a weak Senators penalty-killing unit. The Sens rank in the bottom third of the league with a 77.1% PK rate. They also take the fifth most penalties in the NHL at 12.1 minutes per game.

Auston Matthews 2+ Goals

Auston Matthews is starting to heat up. The back-to-back Rocket Richard trophy winner is shooting the puck more, and the goals have followed. He’s now scored in consecutive games and has 11 on the season. Matthews had 2+ goals in a whopping 15 games last season on the way to a 60-goal season.

He’ll have to start scoring in bunches again if he wants another notch on the Richard trophy. So far this year, the center only has two multiple-goal games. The Leafs are on a heater right now, so why not take a shot on this juicy-odds long shot?
