After a night off for Thanksgiving, the NHL is back with another jam-packed lineup. There are 14 teams in action, with non-stop games running for 12 hours straight.
It’s Black Friday, so naturally, we’ve shopped around today’s best odds from the top legal US sportsbooks.

Jack Hughes Goals – Over 0.5 (+160)
It’s hard to believe that Jack Hughes is in his fourth season as a Devil and is still just 21 years old.
The former first-overall pick took the leap last season and has continued his elite play this year. Hughes has been a streaky goal scorer and has been shut out in four straight contests.
There’s no better team to get back on track against than the Sabres. Buffalo is 24th in the league in goals allowed (3.5) and is inept at killing penalties (28th).
Hughes sees plenty of power play time, making this a favorable matchup.
Pittsburgh Penguins at Philadelphia Flyers – Penguins -1.5 (+114)
It feels like a Penguins puck line kind of night. These are two Pennsylvania teams going in opposite directions. The Flyers have lost eight straight, while the Pens have won four consecutive.
The Flyers can’t find a way to put the puck in the net. They rank dead last in the league in goals (2.5) and are 30th in shots (28.7).
It seems unlikely that they’ll be able to keep up with a high-flying Penguins team that has buried over four goals per game on their winning streak.
Remember, there’s always an empty net chance to save the puck line if Pittsburgh is up by one.
Lucas Raymond Assists – Over 0.5 (+160)
There’s plenty to like about these odds. Raymond has been dishing it lately, with four helpers in his last five games. He’s been seeing plenty of power play action too (2:58), which always helps.
Detroit has been on a bit of a heater, winning three straight, averaging a gaudy 5.3 goals per game. They shouldn’t slow down against an Arizona team that ranks 21st in goals against.
Ride the Red Wings hot streak, hoping they light the lamp for the home crowd in Motown.
St. Louis Blues at Tampa Bay Lightning – Over 6.0 (-115)
The Blues have been playing in shootouts lately, with four of their last five games totaling seven goals or more.
This team gives up a lot of shots and struggles on the penalty kill. That’s bad news against a stacked Lightning team that rates 9th on the PP (25%). Both teams are coming off losses where eight goals were scored in each.
Two of the last three contests between St. Louis and Tampa Bay have hit seven goals. The other one, six.
