It’s the last game of the year for all but one of the NHL teams in action tonight. Here are four player props from hockey betting sites to consider for Dec. 30.

Sidney Crosby – Anytime Goal Scorer
Something’s gotta give tonight when the Devils visit the Penguins. New Jersey has lost back-to-back contests, while Pittsburgh has dropped three in a row.
Sidney Crosby has now been held without a point in two straight games, which has only happened one other time this season. The captain will look to end the year on a high note against a Devils team that has lost eight of their last nine.
NJ has given up 17 goals in its past five games after dominating defensively for most of the year. After a minus-three performance against the Red Wings on Wednesday, we like Crosby to get back on track with a point or two.
Sebastian Aho – Over 0.5 Points
The Carolina Hurricanes are the hottest team in the NHL right now. The Canes have won nine straight and have recently got one of their star players back after an extended absence.
This will be Sebastian Aho’s third game back from injury, and he’ll be looking for his first point since returning.
The 25-year-old has 27 points in 28 games and should have his legs back tonight after a couple of contests under his belt to shake off the rust. His opponent, the Panthers, have given up 18 goals in their last four games.
Matthew Tkachuk – Over 2.5 Shots on Goal
Tkachuk has been a force for the Florida Panthers this season and is coming off one of his best performances of the year. The former Calgary Flame notched two goals and an assist vs. Montreal on Thursday while registering a season-high nine shots on net.
The winger has now fired 17 shots on target in his last four games. The team’s leader will have to bring his A-game tonight against a Hurricanes team that hasn’t lost since Dec. 6. Expect him to be around the net often in this one.
Connor McDavid – Score 2+ Goals
It’s almost a given that Connor McDavid will score one goal with the historic season that he’s having. But at +410 odds, we like the value of him potting a pair.
The superstar center has scored in all but two of his last 15 games, racking up 15 goals in that span. McDavid has five multi-goal games on the season but hasn’t had one since Dec. 7 (nine games).
He’s only gone this long one other time this season without notching two or more, making this an excellent opportunity to take a flier on some juicy odds.
The Seattle Kraken have the second-worst penalty kill in the league, which will be a problem against Edmonton’s vaunted power play.
