Nikita Kucherov Anytime Goal Scorer
Nikita Kucherov has had his way with Nashville. The Russian star has scored in four straight games against the Predators and five of the last six. He also has four consecutive multi-point games, totaling 10 points.
These teams last faced on Nov. 19, with Kucherov notching a goal and two assists with six shots on net. Tampa should be hungry tonight after a rare loss on home ice.
There could be fireworks, as these teams have combined for 27 goals in their last four matches.
Jason Robertson Over 1.5 Points
In a rare occurrence, Jason Robertson was held off the scoresheet last game. Don’t expect it to happen twice in a row. Especially against a leaky Senators team.
Prior to Tuesday against Toronto, Robertson hadn’t gone without at least one point since Oct. 25. The winger had his 18-game point streak derailed and was kept without a point for just the fourth time all year.
Dallas should rebound against a last-place Ottawa team that surrenders 3.32 goals per game (20th). The fourth-year pro has had multiple-point games in five of his last eight. We like the odds we’re getting from hockey betting sites.
Mitch Marner Over 2.5 Shots
This bet seems like a no-brainer the way Marner has been playing. The Toronto star has nine shots in his last two games and hasn’t been below three in a contest in two weeks.
The 25-year-old has now recorded a point in a Leafs-record 20 straight games. The point streak will end at some point at the hands of a hot goaltender, but that doesn’t mean the shots have to.
Expect Marner to continue to fire away against a Kings team that surrendered 33 on net vs. the Senators two nights ago.
Dominik Kubalik Over 2.5 Shots
The Red Wings are on a heater and have marched their way to third place in the Atlantic. Part of that success is owed to the outstanding play of Dominik Kubalik.
The fourth-year Czech is on pace for his best year as a pro, averaging a point per game through 25 contests. He’s been shooting the puck at will with 21 shots in the previous five games.
The winger is coming off a four-shot night and has gone over the 2.5 mark 11 times in his last 14 games.
