It’s a busy Tuesday in the NHL with nine games on tap, including a heavyweight bout between the Leafs and Stars. Here are four player props that stand out for Dec. 6.

John Tavares – Over 2.5 Shots
Few players are more consistent at putting the puck on the net than John Tavares. The veteran center has hit the net in every game this season and has three-plus shots in seven straight and nine of his last ten.
In 26 games, there have only been eight times that he hasn’t recorded a trio of shots. In five of those eight games, he had a pair.
Tavares should continue to rifle the rubber against a Stars team that has been average (16th) at SOG against.
Dylan Samberg – Over 2.5 Blocked Shots
Everything is lining up for Samberg to have a busy night in front of his net.
The D-man has been a shot-blocking machine this year, sacrificing his body 36 times through 17 games. He’ll face a Florida firing squad tonight that leads the NHL in shots on goal with 38.6 per contest.
Samberg has had three or more blocks in a game eight times this season, including three in his last seven games. There’s a good chance he does it tonight against a shoot-first Panthers squad.
Sebastian Aho – Over 2.5 Shots
This prop is more about fading Anaheim than anything else. The Ducks have been dreadful in almost every statistical category this season, including surrendering shots.
They have given up an insane 37.9 per game this year, which has led to a league-worst 4.19 goals against. The Ducks are also dead last in PK percentage and take the second most penalties in the league.
Carolina is an elite team that should have control of the puck all night long. It doesn’t hurt that Aho is the Hurricanes’ second-leading scorer and has tallied three or more shots in five of his last six.
Jason Robertson – Anytime Goal Scorer
Jason Robertson is on one of the craziest goal-scoring streaks in recent history. The 23-year-old broke out last year and has doubled down with a historic pace this season.
Robertson leads the league in goals with 23 and has buried 11 in his previous seven games. The winger has five multi-goal games since Nov. 3 and has scored in a mind-blowing 15 of his last 18.
