We often guard against the temptation of reaching for plus-money odds. After all, there’s a reason oddsmakers hang those prices. We like backing Edwards to pace the way in the scoring column nonetheless.
Edwards is in the midst of an explosive run, pouring in 32 points in three straight contests. He’s 36-for-75 (48%) from the field over that stretch. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown certainly provide significant competition, but we’re confident putting our chips behind the Wolves’ budding superstar.

Naturally, if Edwards is destined to lead the game in scoring, he’s going to outpace Tatum. Tatum can certainly score with the best of the best in the NBA, and there’s a reason he’s the favorite to outpace Edwards. Kyle Anderson Over 4.5 Assists
Anderson often operates as the Timberwolves’ offensive facilitator, evidenced by his two straight double-digit assist performances. He doesn’t require much usage either – it’s his efficiency that’s been on display in recent games.
His production hasn’t been limited to the last two games either. He’s recorded at least five assists in seven of his last 10, and he’s averaging 6.5 dimes overall during that span.
Anthony Edwards Over 2.5 Blocks Plus Steals
Edwards isn’t only lighting up the scoring column these days. He’s getting after it in the defensive categories as well. He’s averaging 1.7 steals and 1.4 blocks over his last 10, impressive figures, but ones that don’t quite do him justice.
That’s because he’s demonstrated an ability to be prolific in those departments. Of those 10 contests, Edwards recorded multiple steals and blocks in five; and he recorded three combined steals and blocks in seven.
We’d be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge the Celtics’ ability to avoid turnovers and blocked shots. However, sometimes it’s simply worth betting on ballers, and Anthony Edwards is a most certainly baller. No, that is not high-level analysis, but there can be value to keeping things simple.

There’s a reason Tatum is top four in NBA MVP odds, and it’s not because he only scores the rock. Tatum is a stat-sheet stuffer which has been evident in recent contests. He’s averaging 10.6 boards and 6.2 dimes over his last 10 games. That includes reaching 16 combined in eight.
The Celtics are in the midst of a modest slump, finishing 3-4 over their last seven, but the incentive to come out focused and determined is present. They’re 5-point road favorites with a respectable game total, and even though the Milwaukee Bucks may be out of reach, the C’s still want to hold off the Philadelphia 76ers in the conference standings.
