Warriors Win Total Odds, Best Bets and Season Outlook

The Warriors over/under win total is set at 43.5 wins.

The Warriors will be missing a big piece of their heart and soul next season. For the first time since Draymond Green was drafted in 2012, the Warriors will be without their core trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Green. Thompson left the team in free agency this offseason and the Warriors’ win total is likely to be affected. We are going to take a look at the over/under odds on the Warriors win total and other bets for the 2024-25 NBA season. Odds are provided by FanDuel Sportsbook.

Warriors Win Total Odds, Best Bets, and Season Outlook

This is not the Warriors 73 win roster from 2016. The roster even looks quite different from their 2022 championship. From that team, only Curry, Green, Andrew Wiggins, Kevon Looney, and Gary Payton II remain. Since that miraculous season, the Warriors have had two tough seasons in a row. In 2023 they had a fun seven-game playoff series with the Sacramento Kings but then lost disappointingly to LeBron James and the Lakers. Last season the Warriors failed to make the playoffs at all, losing in the Play-In Tournament.

The Warriors Over/Under History

This season oddsmakers have the Warriors win total set at 43.5 (over/under -110). This is five wins less than the total set before last season of 48.5. Since their NBA championship in 2022, the Warriors have gone under their projected win total in both seasons. Last year they narrowly missed the mark winning 46 total games.

Without Thompson on the roster, oddsmakers are expecting the Warriors to take a step back from their 46-win season in 2023-24, and we can’t blame them. Although Thompson hasn’t been the same since suffering two major injuries a few years ago, he was still a solid starter for the Warriors. Now, the Warriors will be relying on second-year Brandin Podziemski to fill in for Thompson.

Curry’s Olympic Magic Give Warriors Winning Hopes

During the Olympics, the entire world saw that Curry still could lead a team to a championship. The Warriors are certainly hoping they got him enough help this offseason to at least make a deep playoff run. Instead of leaning further on their (still) somewhat unproven youth, the Warriors picked up savvy NBA veterans in the offseason to support their roster. Kyle Anderson and De’Anthony Melton will help, but unless Curry and Green can continue their elite play, hitting the Warriors win total may be difficult.

Believers Take the Wins Over and Pacific Division Win

For those who think that Curry and Green can still lead an elite team (or Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga could take a significant leap this season), taking the Warriors’ win total over looks juicy. The Warriors haven’t won less than 44 games since 2021.

Another NBA best bet worth looking at for Warriors believers is for them to win the Pacific Division at +400 odds. The Pacific division has historically been one of the best in the league, but its’ stars are getting old. The Lakers haven’t improved their roster much, the Clippers lost one of their stars Paul George, and the Suns’ new star trio is still unproven. If all breaks right for the Warriors, they have a shot to win the division.
